Steve Mentz is a professor of English literature at St. John's University in New York. His most recent book, An Introduction to the Blue Humanities, was published in July 2023 by Routledge. His other books include Break Up the Anthropocene (2019) and Shipwreck Modernity (2015).
He is also the author of a book of poetry, Swim Poems, published in 2022 by Ghostbird Press.
