Oceano
€16,00

Year of publication: 2023

Synopsis:
Oceans cover 70% of the Earth's surface and host over 90% of the biosphere. Yet our narrative of history and geography is solidly anchored to land and its metaphors. Considering the ocean's point of view rather than that of land brings forth unprecedented perspectives, offering new interpretations and destabilizing our anthropocentric convictions.
This original and surprising book takes us through stories of sailors and mermaids, slavery and globalization, mythical heroes and modern poets, redrawing narratives we thought we knew and forcing us to reconsider our relationship with nature and the environment in a different way.
